This notice explains how One Furniture Outlet Ltd uses personal information when you visit our website, contact us or arrange furniture supply, delivery and installation.
One Furniture Outlet Ltd is the data controller. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15404813. For privacy enquiries, contact admin@onefurnitureoutlet.co.uk or call 0121 798 7694. Our operational base is at 21–25 Sedgley Street, Wolverhampton, WV2 3AJ.
You may give us your name, organisation, work contact details, delivery locations, property and room counts, required dates, messages and attachments. If you place an order, we also need the information required to organise supply, delivery, installation, payment and aftercare. A housing provider may give us a site contact’s details to coordinate an installation.
Our website services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details to deliver pages, handle forms and protect against spam and misuse.
Please send only information needed for your enquiry. Do not include residents’ health or safeguarding records, identity documents or key-safe codes in the general enquiry form. Remove unnecessary personal information from plans and photographs. We can agree how to share essential access information when arranging an order.
We consider these interests alongside your rights. We do not use enquiry details for marketing campaigns. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means. Providing enquiry details is voluntary, but without the information relevant to your request we may be unable to respond, quote or deliver the service.
Website enquiries are reviewed by the business owner. Our website, email and communications providers process information to operate their services. GoDaddy hosts this website and provides its contact-form facilities; Google reCAPTCHA helps protect forms against spam.
When needed to fulfil an order, relevant delivery and access details may be shared with our delivery and installation team or an external removal contractor where that service is arranged. Information may also be shared with professional advisers, insurers, payment or accounting service providers, and authorities where necessary for their role or required by law. We share only information relevant to the purpose.
We have disabled GoDaddy’s optional Advanced Tracking and do not use website enquiries for advertising. Hosting, security, form and communication services may still process technical data needed to operate the site. Your browser can manage or remove cookies; restricting them may affect some features.
Google reCAPTCHA and externally hosted fonts may receive technical information when loaded. See Google’s Privacy Policy. If you choose a WhatsApp or social-media link, that service’s own privacy terms apply to your use of it. You can contact us by phone or email instead.
Some service providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where a restricted transfer is made on our behalf, appropriate safeguards are required, such as a UK adequacy arrangement or approved contractual terms. GoDaddy describes its transfer arrangements in its Data Processing Addendum. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Enquiries and quotations that do not become orders: we retain them for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then delete or anonymise them, unless a continuing request or dispute gives us a specific reason to keep relevant information longer.
Order, contract and accounting records: we keep necessary records during the relationship and generally for six years after the end of the last company financial year to which they relate. Some records may need longer retention for an ongoing contract, tax enquiry, legal obligation or claim. We keep only the information needed for that purpose.
Temporary access details and unnecessary copies of attachments should not be kept as part of long-term accounting records. Retention is reviewed against the purpose for which information is needed.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions.
Contact admin@onefurnitureoutlet.co.uk to make a request or raise a concern. We may need to confirm your identity and will respond within the time required by data protection law. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
We may update this notice when our services or data-handling arrangements change. The review date above identifies the current version.
